As an England and Wales qualified Level IV coach, Dougie is one of the most qualified coaches in the Middle East. He brings a formidable wealth of experience to our RR Academy; firstly, as a player with Warwickshire CCC, he played over 600 1st team matches, amassing over 15,000 runs and taking just short of 1,000 wickets. He also brings international playing experience having played 26 ODI's for both England and Scotland. Dougie coached Warwickshire for 10 years. More recently, he has been Head Coach of the UAE team here in Dubai where he oversaw their rise to number 12 in the ICC world rankings, the highest position they have ever attained. He has also coached in various franchise tournaments around the world, He is currently Head Coach of The Braves franchise who play in a number of global tournaments annually and was Assistant Coach of Karachi KIng's in the PSL previously.
